New Beginnings
I’ve never really been a music person. Don’t get me wrong, I love music, but I never learned how to play an instrument as a child, and it’s always easier to learn as a child. But that’s just an excuse: I let a lack of experience get in the way of learning.
After one of my close friends pestered me for months, I finally downloaded an editing software. Once I started, it was astounding how many tutorials and tools and how much information is waiting at the stroke of a keyboard. The trickiest part is starting.

First Steps
I don’t really remember making most of this song to be honest. I sat down on a Tuesday, and for the next four days, I only really got up for bathroom breaks, and food. It was written in the C-major scale, and the main chord progression was D maj-F/A-G sus-G7-A maj-C/E-D sus/A-A maj.
